The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has announced that three Diesel shipments of 40,000 MT each and 92 Octane Petrol shipment of 35,000 MT are due to arrive in Sri Lanka on July 17. The state owned CPC suspended issuing of fuel to the public on 25 June after it had not been able to source fuel.
Fuel stations operated by the CPC had stopped issuing fuel to the general public since 25 June. It is expected that they will resume operations soon after these shipments arrive.
